"First, this was our first time to Salzburg, and we really loved the city. After the first night I was ready to rate this really low due to the fact that a remodeling project was underway right next door, and the noise was terrible. First morning we were awakened at 7:00am to a thunderous chorus of hammering and sawing, literally on the common wall that our bed was on! I later went to the hotel, which is where you check-in, and explained the unacceptable situation to the young lady at desk. I...

" For everyone else, this is a nice, clean, standard B&B. But, for fans of the Sound of Music, please do not miss this one! It is out of town and not near any restaurants, etc. But, it's got history and Trapp family memorabilia galore. My room was nice, quaint and very similar to other B&B rooms. But, again, I didn't stay here for the bed quality. I stayed here because of the lore of the von Trapps."
