The room was large by Japanese standards, but it's not sound proofed, as my room faced the main street, it was very noisy and I had a difficult time sleeping. Also the room was very dark, I would have preferred a lighter environment.

We greatly enjoyed staying here. Everything was excellent: the room, the food, the staff, the onsen. Staff were particularly helpful, providing information about visiting potters and taking care of sending our luggage. Hagi was a lovely city with much to see and do. And the sakura were in full bloom everywhere!

Such a quaint and charming place! The hotel reflects traditional Japanese architecture and decor. Very delicious Japanese breakfast. Extremely satisfied!! Close to bunny island too! The hotel staff helped us get a taxi to get to the bunny island dock.
