The hotel was gorgeous and extremely clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was extensive with an unimaginable variety. The view was gorgeous as well. The only negative is that all the amenities come at an additional cost.

The Grand Prince in Hiroshima is very impressive at first, the staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and fast. We had a room on the 17th floor, one or two doors away from a G7 Summit suite. The rooms are pretty large by Japanese standards. Big windows to enjoy the one of a kind view. That's about where the good ends, the carpets are pretty stained and old looking. The chairs are uncomfortable, it's like they don't want you lounging in your room. The bed was nice and we slept okay. The bathroom has a step up which is easy to forget about so my big toes are now bloody. The bathtub drained kinda slow so you end up getting a footbath with your shower. All in all, they have the ability to be a great outstanding hotel but fall short somewhat on the simple stuff.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, super convenient if you want to take the ferry to Miyajima. There is a shuttle available to and from Hiroshima station (from needs to be booked in advance, but we walked on the shuttle back to the station without an advance booking). The rooms were wonderful, with many amenities including comfy pajamas, bed/pillows, and a place to lay down and watch TV if desired. You can easily sign into your own streaming subscriptions from the TV. We only stayed one night, but it was a fantastic stay.

Beautiful classy hotel with excellent amenities. Staff was friendly and very eager to help us enjoy Hiroshima and Japan. Despite being out of town it was right at the boat dock to adventure and easy bus access

Loved location -little bit out of city but that was a bonus after Tokyo. Fabulous views for breakfast/bar. Spacious room, comfortable beds.

Its a amazing hotel with a wonderful view. Looking out at the ocean from top floor made us memories for life. Definitely wanna come back if we are ever in Hiroshima.
