"We had a very pleasant stay during the off-season. Our rooms overlooked the river and were quiet. The room was clean, relatively recently refurbed and very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. On check-in, we asked if we could get a knife (so we could have a wine and cheese snack in our rooms) and the receptionist got us one. "It is very pet friendly with a fair charge of $ 20.- for both small dogs. The room is large with a large fridge/freezer. We pre-booked and paid but the room was very cold at arrival. The beds were not made - crumpled sheets. Doona and pillow slips need a proper wash. The micro wave is weak - you will need extra time to heat anything. "
