"I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. "Staff at check in was incredibly nice and attentive. Room was shown and explanation of access both during daytime hours and after hours (there is a back door to the old town that makes it a snap) was given. Room was cozy, not large, but bathroom was great and amenities were good. Air conditioning worked splendidly. Centrally located right across the street from the Loire River. Our room (#7) had a balcony (shared) with a deck table and chairs. Rooms have a small fridge with “minibar” items. Guests are provided a free bottle of locally sourced spring water. It’s a charming boutique hotel and we would definitely stay here again if need arose!"

"One of best places I have stayed in — will highly recommend to friends and family. The place is serene, staff is very accommodating, spa is very relaxing, the facilities and food are outstanding!! A great place to pick as a base for visiting all the chateaus in the area and come back to relax at this property!! Wish we stayed longer but we will definitely be back!"

"The staff is nice. The room is nice but no coffee machine in room or bath robes. They had coffee in the main area for tours and told us we could not have any. The restaurant was nice and staff was attentive. We didn't get breakfast too expensive. The hotel should have a shuttle to town it's too far you need a car. This hotel if they don't provide a coffee machine in the rooms they should offer it in the main area."

"I rate this property 5-stars primarily because of its outstanding location in Loches. Also, the front desk staff communicated very well in advance of our arrival. Other pluses include the kitchen and living areas. For these reasons, I think the proper is most ideal for young families. As an older couple I would give it four stars for the following reasons. The property is laid out in such a way where the distance from your vehicle to your room is likely to be long and likely to involves one or more flights of stairs. The actual sleeping room with our double bed was so small, there was barely enough room to get around the bed. When we arrived, we had to make our own bed and put in the trash liners. Not a welcome task after driving seven hours. It was clear from the lack of amenities that the host is trying to save money wherever they can. That is fine in some ways, but others were negative. My suggestion is to charge a little more for the room and deliver a five star stay."
