"Great place for overnight with dogs."

"Arrived at 4:30pm.to find hotel completely shut with no signs. Tried calling owner but had no answer. There was no communication beforehand. Hotels.xom could not help so booked another hotel to find that after 45 minutes of waiting for the lights to suddenly turn on! The person at the counter spoke no English and did not explain why they were closed without notice. I couldn't get refund on other hotel I booked. Otherwise room and bathroom were very big, the outside is lovely, with flowers and...

"A very beautiful and clearly old hotel set in an amazing medieval village. Hotel was very basic with lots of character. Some aspects need updating. Very dark bathroom decor and some squashed insects on the walls. Parking almost impossible near hotel but available a short walk away on the main road. "

"Basic hotel in the middle of nowhere. Has all the basics you need in a very limited space. OK for a one night stay over (over night travel break), but not for a longer stay. "

"This hotel was perfect for our needs of travelling through France. The beds were firm and comfy, and the bathroom and bedroom spacious and clean. The hotel staff were also friendly and nice. Breakfast is VERY self service, but totally fine. Beware that Blois has a demanted one-waysystem. Driving through it using an English sat nav courtsey of Google Maps resulted in some shocking errors. There are plenty of nice restaurants near the hotel too. Recommended."

"Very simple, old fashioned, basic and inexpensive hotel this is best selected by one who intends not to spend much time here. Bathroom was tiny and badly laid out (oversized sink was an unavoidable obstacle between toilet and doorway) while the shower unit was very small. Shower itself was good. Beds were ok and sheets and towels were clean. Wi-fi connection was good. Location is also good; next to the rail station and within 5 minutes walk of most attractions. Fine for a brief overnight but not...

"We booked the hotel on Expedia around 10pm by 11:30pm we were at the hotel. We were not able to check in since there was nobody at the reception. We called the number provided, only to see the phone ringing at the reception but nobody to answer it. So we were left without hotel and 3 small children in the car. Obviously money was deducted from our account and now we have to chase the refund. I would be careful booking this hotel!!!"
