The location is great, but it is barely enough equipped, not very clean, and there is no other way than to disturb the host to get in the house every time you come in. "We loved this place and would stay here again when we travel back to Kyoto. The place was super clean and quiet. It felt so safe and train stations were in walking distance. We even found an awesome Korean restaurant right around the corner from the place. Also the Lawson store was just a minute away from here and open 24 hours. The staffing were also extra helpful and super sweet. "

"A more upscale experience and incredibly convenient for travellers, located right inside Kyoto Station — perfect if you’re catching an early Shinkansen or arriving late. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with professional and attentive staff. The breakfast was excellent, and the cooks even made a custom soft-boiled egg on request, which was a nice touch. There are several dining options within the hotel, though they’re on the pricier side, and countless others just steps away in and around the station. A great mix of comfort, service, and unbeatable location."
