「Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent. Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden. Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended.」

「What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.」

「Lovely location, peaceful atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable had all you needed for your stay. Lovely big bath towels! Breakfast was ok, could improve, scrambled eggs not good being kept warm, not much choice on the continental side. We didn’t use the bar but was told we could take drinks and food to the room if wanted. Would definitely stay here again. 」

「My wife and I chose to have a little couple away time and The Litton was the perfect place to do it. Not only is it one of the most stylish and beautifully done out country pubs I've ever had the pleasure to visit, not only was the food superb (both dinner and breakfast), not only was the decor spot on, not only was our room meticulously clean with such a well stocked minibar and every room amenity you could ever need but on top of all that the service was second to none. 「イギリスの宿はこんな感じだろうな、という想像通りの宿でした。 良くも悪くも適当です。 メインはパブで、宿がおまけで付いているという感じです。 アメニティはシャンプー石鹸含め一切ありません。部屋についても、ついたら掃除するからちょっとまってね、と掃除しはじめたくらいです。 ただマスターも物凄くいい人でしたし部屋をなぜか？料金変わらず二つにしてくれたりしました。 ちなみに、wi-fi有料、イングリッシュブレックファースト無料となっておりますが、wi-fi無料のイングリッシュブレックファーストが有料でした。 ま、朝なぜか時間になってもマスターが現れず、朝飯は食べれず鍵と手紙を残して帰りましたが…(⌒-⌒; )」

「The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was spacious clean and exactly like advertised on the web site. Everything was very clean. Bathroom and shower etc very good and spotless. We dined at the Indian restaurant next door the food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. Ths only sad thing was the little coffee shop is no longer there but I understand why. 」

「The George is a lovely, old-fashioned kind of hotel in a small village. Check in was a little confused as we missed the sign that said reception but once we found it, it was easy. The room was spacious with a king sized bed, kettle, desk and chair. I was extremely impressed with the breakfast. Tea, coffee, juice, cereal and toast then a cooked choice from the menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A lovely stay and we would definitely return.」
