"I recently had a wonderful stay at Royal Park Hotel and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. "My stay was fine. I won’t choose to stay at this establishment or brand again. When we arrived. The window to the room was open. The room is spacious however the tv installation is poorly thought out. It didn’t swivel. It sits on a wall between the windows with the bed on one side and the couch on the other without the ability to turn it either way. The dust on the nightstands and phone was thick and visible. Stains on the floor also very visible. It was very apparent that the facility was old and not professionally repaired or painted. In summary the facility was clean enough to stay in once. "

"I rented this room for a nice weekend with my nieces and nephew. I specially picked this for the pool and the gym. The gym had one broken treadmill. The pool was also closed and if I would have known this since it was listed as an amenity I would have cancelled and scheduled somewhere else. This was part of my nieces and nephews Christmas present since we live over a hour away and we’re going to an event in Detroit. Not only did the hotel charge my card 24 hours before check in, so I couldn’t cancel after finding out the pool was closed I had to quickly go and spend extra money to keep them busy and find something else to do for our special time together. I will never book through here again. "
