"The room was clean but had a strong smoke odor. I let the front desk know the morning of checkout and we comped 10%. Not much but at least it was something. The lady working the front desk the night I stayed was rude and passive aggressive. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name."

"Have stayed at the same location last Aug and had an enjoyable stay. When i was time to book another trip home I book my stay here. I arrived early and after explaining to the desk clerk i had been up 42 hrs he allowed me an early check in. There was a heavy musky (weed) smell. It maybe the 2 large dispensaries.that are around the hotel. Set room dated the carpet needed to be restreched the water was barely warm in the shower but I didn't care I needed to sleep. Kids in the next room making noise all night. When I left my room in the morning to go get breakfast people had thrown their trash in the hallway. I think this might be a Detroit thing as i've traveled extensively thur the US and Europe and i've never seen anything like this. Only in Detroit. I lived 45 years in Detroit , and i've never seen that. Breakfast over returning to my room, the lady next door open the door out came 6 kids.Then another woman and 4 kids.12 people in one room?? No wonder there was so much noise coming from that room."

"hotel management was very friendly every arriving and departing moments housekeeping staff were very thorough in their cleaning and organization despite what appears to be construction in the hotel there were no noises from it looking forward to staying with you next time thank you for your hospitality"

"Both mornings we went to breakfast they were out of food (no milk, eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, etc). There was still 45+ minutes before it shut down. When asked the lady said she was bringing the last of the omelets out and that was about 6. There were 20+ people still needing breakfast. "

"Heater worked well but extremely loud. Check in person showed somewhat competent but not friendly at all, got the feeling he would rather be somewhere else. The room is in desperate need of remodeling. It looked tired. Stains on ceiling wall and couch, I did not want to sit on that, it was the only sitting area apart from the bed. I did not want to shower, because it meant touching the shower curtain that look well used and stained if it wasn't durty. The bed was clean bedding crisp and white pillows adequate. I am a light sleeper, so did not slept much due to the loud heater, and refrigerator. We left at 4 AM, because there was a fight outside in the parking lot. I admit that was nothing the staff could controll, just surprised they did not hear anything."
