「Parking was good, AC worked good and Heat but the air purifier didn't work. Still was a great stay and will be back. 」

We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. 」

Staff was very friendly and very accommodating for a last minute decision to stay and unsure if I would need to stay another night due to a road closing and undetermined reopening. The staff tried to help me figure the status of the road closing keeping me from my home. Very kind」

「It has a small Continental breakfast, at 5pm they put out free cookies and popcorn on a first come first serve basis. The pool is nice and they have plenty of family friendly activities. Also walking distance to the beach. Definitely would go again.」

「I cant in good faith give 5 stars for a motel that is severely dated however...I will say this place is "clean" on the inside, the grounds need some love. (Theynare currently doing renovations snd I am excited to return to see the updates). This little gem is hands down the best little hole in the wall motel that is ON THE BEACH and allows fur babies. 「This is our second time staying at John Yancy. Its nothing fancy but it has a great breakfast with a beautiful gazebo to eat at if you choose. Staff is nice. My biggest complaint was the wifi connection at night. It kept buffering or disconnecting which made it frustrating with little ones. 」

「We arrived after hours, and Jim made sure we had what we needed and for our arrival to be seamless as possible. Our room was in excellent condition and super clean and fresh. Our bed was comfortable, seemed brand new and we had no problems! We will definitely stay at the Dolphin Oceanfront again in the future. Thanks again! 」
