「It was our first time staying at this property because we were there for a wedding and our 24 hour day was absolutely phenomenal. The rooms were super clean. I absolutely loved the water pressure of the shower and the fact that the water stayed hot the whole time. Staff was exceptional. There was still food options available after 1 AM in the high limit area, which was also nice. Overall, a great day would definitely recommend. It’s definitely worth the price you pay.」

「The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good especially compared to other similar properties. Each morning, they changed their menu and it was always quite tasty. The staff kept everything full [buffet style] and they were always ready for a crowd. The restaurant next to the Best Western served a very tasty dinner. The menu was mostly Indian food . I requested it to be mild and they had no issues with my request.」

「Room was adequately cleaned ( lots of hair in shower ) crumbs on floor but the facilities were maintained. Front desk manager was not very nice when mold was found in the coffee pot for breakfast she was snippy and dismissive about it. Food in bar downstairs was ok.」

「The Rest Hotel in downtown Plymouth is a gem of a find! Quaint, cute, perfect location, perfect amenities, and the rooms were much better than "normal" hotels. However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country!」

「The furniture needs replacing. Suggest a higher rack in closet for hanging clothes. Water pressure in shower was excellent.」

「Highly recommend! So cool.」

「Nice place. Good price. Good access/parking. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Zero to complain about.」

「The Innkeeper was wonderful, three-course breakfast was outstanding. Property is upscale, warm, and beautiful. I would go again in a heartbeat.」

「I’ve been to this property twice now. This is motel off of the highway, but it’s grade separated so the road noise isn’t an issue. The property has free parking and WiFi. Upon entering the room there is newly added pine-looking cabinet, place to put luggage, and table. The bed is a bit lumpy, but still can sleep through it. In the winter time there is a hvac room unit but I didn’t use it. The sink is outside - retro color. I haven’t seen anywhere else with a stainless steel Kleenex box affixed...

「Very cool history and character in this place. Worth a visit to step back in time and get a feel for how it was in the guilded age.」

「What a treasure this small piece of CA is. Beautiful grounds snd immaculate facilities with generous hosts and good amenities. We literally did not want to leave!」

「No breakfast but their web site said they do. Room was clean . Parking good . Staff took long to respond to a request.」
