The room was Immaculate with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Everything looked new Good location with many restaurants and grocery suppliers around

No air conditioning and work was being done on the building so noises in the morning. Also some lady (2nd door to the right of 2054) opened the doors and glared at me while I was trying to carry all my stuff down the stairs bc apparently she’s bothered by the sound of the door opening and closing. I replied don’t you see my hands are full. If she wanted to not hear doors she should have booked another hotel.

We booked the Hotel Radnor for our first night in London after arriving from Oz in the early morning. The hotel is in a great position in Paddington and an easy flat walk with a suitcase from the station. We knew that we would not get a room with our early arrival, but was able to leave our bags in the lobby and use the rest room to freshen up. After our day exploring London we came back to the hotel to check in around 5.00pm. Check in was simple and the lift a god send for our triple room on the third floor. The room was fine and airy, however no aircon, which we knew, so we shut the open window and pulled the curtain to stop the setting sun from warming the room up to give the table fan a chance to cool the room a little from the unseasonal England warm spell. After a light unpack I was looking to use the shower. The shower knob was missing a part in the front and it took ages for me the get the hot water coming through. When it started I hopped in but it kept getting hotter and I couldn’t control the temperature. We got onto reception and they came and checked and agreed the broken control was the problem and offered another rooms shower facilities but we asked to check the new room and agreed to change rooms, so pack up and move to another floor, where the shower worked fine. At the included breakfast selection was fine but the auto coffee maker was broken and also the auto toaster rack stopped rotating for a while! Hotel could do with some maintenance.
