The staff were absolutely lovely, helpful, friendly, and accommodating in every way. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We felt like the staff got to know our family and were very kind and ready to answer any questions and help with anything. The property itself was beautiful and well maintained. They thought if everything, even a small robe and slippers for our daughter!

Beautiful hotel located midway between Heraklion and Chania. Loved the beach and restaurant. Our room was amazing with our own pool and fireplace in our private outdoor area. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Loved Rethymno's old town which was a short cab drive away. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the garden apartment with our son. Everything was great. We especially enjoyed the great food, the service and the care for children at this accommodation. The kids club was really something which offered a lot for little ones (ours is 3) and we always felt comfortable around the facilities. We felt that the massage was a bit expensive for what it was.

Beautiful hotel

Gorgeous hotel, service was perfect. Any little problem that could have been solved was immediately fixed by staff. Public areas and rooms were immaculately clean. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen with 30 trays of hot and probably 50 cold dishes. Pool area and beach were lovely and relaxing. The one warning I would have is that the pool area is very slippery and dangerous. There are few handrails (really only one) so it’s hard to enter and exist safely. I saw several people slip. If food is not included in your rate I would recommend visiting other local hotels for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is nice but is very expensive relative to the local area.

The check-in experience, handled by Iwanda, was excellent — warm, professional, and efficient. The property itself is very beautiful, with good food and a Kids Club offering plenty of engaging activities for children. The only alternative offered was a 30-minute shower slot before departure. As frequent guests of luxury hotels around the world, we have never encountered such a rigid approach, especially in a property of this category. If this is indeed the hotel’s intended policy, it is an important factor for travelers to consider when choosing their stay.

I loved everything about this hotel; from the ”welcome!” to the ”hope to see you soon again!” Very friendly staff, excellent housekeeping and absolutely stunning rooms and gardens. Located right on the beach, and has a really nice poolarea. It is familyfriendly but even still a nice, quiet luxurious hotell. I was upgraded to a room with a terrace with a jacuzzi (that I never got around to use, sadly) and I could never ask for a lovelier room! The gym is one area that could improve; it is on the smaller scale and it lacked music and atmosphere. This vacay will stay with me for a long time. Yes- it is pricey but worth every penny.

Beautiful hotel

Gorgeous hotel, service was perfect. Any little problem that could have been solved was immediately fixed by staff. Public areas and rooms were immaculately clean. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen with 30 trays of hot and probably 50 cold dishes. Pool area and beach were lovely and relaxing. The one warning I would have is that the pool area is very slippery and dangerous. There are few handrails (really only one) so it’s hard to enter and exist safely. I saw several people slip. I would recommend visiting other local hotels for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is nice but is very expensive relative to the local area.

Super freundliches und engagiertes Personal, sauber und Pool & Strand super gepflegt. Sehr leckeres und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen - auch glutenfrei möglich! Kinderprogramm war auch wunderbar. Unser erstes Familienzimmer war relativ laut (Klimaanlage vor dem Balkon, Fahrstuhl), konnten aber wechseln.

Wenn nicht dieser frustrierende Vorfall gewesen wäre, hätten wir die volle Punktezahl geben können. Am Anreisetag zeigte man uns beim Check-In unser Zimmer. Ich merkte sofort, dass es nicht die Zimmerkategorie war, die wir gebucht hatten und es wesentlich kleiner war. Wir hatten die “Deluxe bungalow suite” gebucht und das “Maisonette caramel” Zimmer bekommen. Es war schon auch schön, aber es hatte einen sehr kleinen Balkon. Wir hatten eine Terrasse mit kleinem Garten gebucht. Wir waren direkt verstimmt, als wir feststellen mussten, dass die gebuchte Kategorie online noch verfügbar war. Eine Doppelbelegung war also nicht der Grund. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass es sich hier um ein gehobenes 5-Sterne-Hotel handelt. Ich hab das Zimmer noch am selben Abend reklamiert und bekam von der Rezeption Ausflüchte zu hören. Ich hätte mir hier mehr Ehrlichkeit gewünscht. Ich sagte sofort, dass wir das so nicht hinnehmen würden. Zunächst bekamen wir als Entschädigung einen Gutschein für ein A la Carte Abendessen und die Info, dass wir in zwei Tagen umziehen dürfen. Das war dann auch der Fall und wir bekamen sogar ein Upgrade in Form eines eigenen Pools. Das Personal war die ganze Zeit über sehr freundlich und sie bemühten sich wirklich das Problem schnell zu lösen. Der Urlaub konnte gerettet werden. Wir fanden das Ganze dennoch sehr unnötig. Leider gefiel uns auch der Strand nicht, sodass wir die Region auf Kreta nicht erneut buchen würden. Das Hotel selber ist aber wirklich wunderschön.

Upea hotelli ja kokemus. Siistiä, kaunista, hotellin alue monipuolisempi, vihreämpi ja hyvällä tavalla pienempi kuin kuvista voi odottaa. Parasta oli henkilökunnan aito, sydämellinen ystävällisyys. Majoituksemme aikana kaikki sujui, mikään ei ollut rikki tai puolitiessään, kaikki puhdasta. Runsas aamiainen oli loistava. Locanda-ravintola tien toisella puolella mainio. Palaamme varmasti, jos vielä tulemme Kreetalle!
