"The property is one of the original monasteries of Portugal. All aspects of the facilities were excellent clean, neat, and easy access to all amenities. The room was beautiful with great view of the hills and surrounding geography.
In general the staff was very good to excellent always helpful."

"I absolutely loved Rosegarden House. It was a magical, charming, and delightful stay. Manuel and Jessica were especially helpful, kind, and friendly. The room was cozy, comfortable, and I slept extremely well. The library and the pool were a lovely amenties and the breakfast was delicious. I hope to come back soon! "

You will feel extremely unsafe. The rooms feel like they haven't been cleaned in forever. Lighting is extremely poor. Smells bad. And the owner writes fake reviews about the property!!
All of the 5-star reviews on Google Maps are from the same person, go and check for yourself. I stayed here because of a last minute emergency, but I would've preferred to spend the night at an airport or anywhere else. "
"For the high price we paid, I was hoping to get a clean room.
We got only 1 towel pp, non a face towel, or a bath floor towel mate. Instead there was a plastic mate in the bath, and another plastic mate when you get out from the bath. It seems it was dirty and oily when our clean legs caused black stains on the floor.
Also the window shutter is broken.
Looks like a bad maintenanced place"

"The hotel staff went above and beyond for two American tourists trying to enjoy the best of Portugal. Secured us a cab to take us to some of the more remote places and recommended amazing dining in the area. Definitely recommend staying here if you come to Sintra. "
"This place was absolutely charming with lots of characteristics!! We stayed 2 nights in the room 'Moon River'(queen size bed). The room was very clean, spacious and with lovely big windows. We appreciated the attention in the small details. Breakfast was great and met our needs (cold and hot options). The location was excellent and walking distance (15min) to old town of Sintra (keep in mind you're on a mountain so lots of hills/steep climbs). Plenty of free street parking in the "loop", but if theres a church service or such then parking can be challenging in the loop. I would absolutely go back to this place! We regret not staying one more night, there is so much to visit/see in Sintra with all the different Palaces and Heritage sites."
