"i have to say that all the front staff members were superb!! everyone is very pleasant, helpful, polite, EXTREMEMLY PROFESSIONAL. I travel quite a bit and will say hands down that the front desk people here are a class act! on a different note, the location is very convenient. it's right in the city center. you can walk to the Regelaria and National Palace. you will have to uber to the Moorish Castle and Pena, though."

"We had a large room with a private sitting out area (although it was too cold to use while we were there). Karen and her staff were very helpful and accommodating. The guest house is very central, close to where Ubers can take you and several of the palaces are close by. There is an honesty system for snacks and drinks. Breakfast was OK but with freshly made pancakes and scrambled egg and the dining area was more corridor than room. Overall very good value."

"Cute boutique hotel. They were working on restoring hot water when I arrived, at 9pm there was loud drilling just outside my villa. After that, staff was nowhere to be found for the next two days - although their mobile no. is left in the room. Breakfast room was dead in the morning. Left the keys inside the room when I left, since there was noone to leave it with."

"The property was in excellent condition, the room was comfortable and well furnished, and the breakfast was good. The location is close to restaurants and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. We are hikers, so it was a great spot for starting off on hikes to the castle, Peña Palace, etc. Staff was very helpful in the morning when they were present."

"Had a wonderful stay here. We requested an early check in and they accommodated us. Everything was perfect in the room — mattress was comfortable, heat/AC/hot water worked fine, coffee, tea, plates, and cups all provided. The location is an easy 15-20 min walk to downtown Sintra/National Palace, or a Bolt/Uber can get there in less than 5 euros. It was also within one block from a mini market which was super convenient to get water, snacks, and picnic lunch. "
