"Staff was very accommodating, and were able to store my baggage for the day while I went out to explore. Note that the hotel is in the driving restricted historic center, so likely your taxi or tuktuk will drop you off on the main road, and you'll have to walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Breakfast was small, but had everything we needed for a healthy start to the day. Room size was good, and bed was very comfy. Adjoining bathroom was quite large, with a comfortably sized antique rain shower that was set very high to accommodate any basketball player-sized guests. Room did come with a heater, which I appreciated. "

"The room was clean. It was a little bit smaller than we expected. The bathroom had all the amenities. Loved the fact that it had heated floor. Breakfast was nice. The room had a nice view of the National Palace and the surrounding area. We used Uber to get to the hotel from Lisbon. If one drives there, they need to be alert. The parking area is just before the hotel. If they miss it, they will have to drive another half an hour and go around the loop, as the street is one way. This is also mentioned on the hotel web site. I would recommend the hotel while visiting Sintra."

"Everything was great. The location was walkable to all attractions and the staff and breakfast were wonderful. Bed and bedding were good. The only thing to understand before booking is that it’s a charming converted mansion so sound proofing may not be the best and some rooms might feel a bit tight, especially if you’re a larger person. The grounds are enormous and one can literally lose oneself walking in nature around the golf course. There are five great restaurants on property. And the location, midway between Centra and Cascais is perfect. "
