"7 minutes away from airport (not walkable but taxis are right outside the airport to the right hand side of the exit/ entrance of the airport & when you need to head back to the airport the staff WILL call a taxi for you) "

"Very effusive welcome at check-in and help to park. Junior suite room very spacious, bed large and comfortable, I liked my pillow, OH didn’t like his. Room and bathroom clean. Hardwood floors meant wilderbeest occupants of room above kept us awake at all hours; must be migration time. Breakfast plentiful with many good things (including Prosecco) but real juice is extra, very odd. Best to stick to Italian breakfast ingredients IMO. Lucca is very compact within the walls so nowhere is very far to walk but this is a well located hotel very close to the famous San Michele. It isn’t an “excellent” hotel in the luxury category but it is very competitively priced and good value."
