「The hosts provide a perfect place to stay. It is cozy, but seems more roomy than the pictures suggest. Each room is enhanced by tastefully chosen art, furniture and unusually varied lighting. The kitchen has a surprising amount of functionality, not least of which is how attractive it is. We didn't cook since Alameda has excellent, affordable restaurants nearby, We slept well.」

「I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. Thank you again for a very convenient and peaceful stay! I will stay again when in the area. 」

「The garden was truly beautiful and well tended to, you can just tell it’s cared for with love. On top of the garden, her dog charlotte was truly lovely. Such a friendly lady dog. I believe that if you love her garden and dog you’ll also like Georgina, she is just a wonderful woman. Her soul reminds me of a flower. I honestly would come here again if I just needed to get away from everything because it really is a calming environment! 」

「My two teenagers and I enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cottage in Berkeley. We appreciated the well-appointed home, with all the amenities we needed - washer dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. The host even provided cloth bags for our grocery shopping! We would happily stay there again - it's a real gem 」

This cozy home was fully equipped with everything we could have needed…and more! From the comfortable queen bed to the new, sparkling appliances and features, this lovely home has it all. 「I am not sure if it's the property manager, who did call and apologize the next day, or VRBO processes and management. We were not able to access the property at midnight, having just arrived in Oakland. After repeated attempts to contact the property manager all day for a door code, I finally called VRBO. The property had been rented, possibly under a different company. I am not sure. We were left to find accomodations at 1 AM. The property was right by the family's house we were visiting so...

「Peaceful off-the-grid getaway with stunning views. We had a wonderful stay. The views of the wetlands were absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset - truly a peaceful and serene setting. We loved being able to explore the wetlands right on the property. And it was a perfect spot for both our kids and our dog to enjoy nature safely. The host was fantastic- great communication and very easy to work with. We felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. 」

「Really nice in-law cottage with a lovely patio and garden. Close to freeway and Grand Lake Theatre, plenty of food options and a supermarket nearby. TV was a problem but Wi-Fi worked and we used our own tablets most of the time. Washer & dryer needs some knobs replaced but host was responsive & friendly about helping us find a workaround. Washed clothes just fine. Vehicle parking on street or at public lot nearby. Very nice place and I’d stay again!」
