"I booked this trip on a whim after my flight to puerto Vallarta turned around to go home on 2/22/26. The reviews made me nervous but I thought it definitely had redeeming qualities. The grounds are quite pretty and there’s lots of activities for kids and adults to do to pass the time. My family stayed on resort most of the week. The pools and water slides are pretty cool. The kids water park is great. The kids love it and it feels pretty safe. The riu land kids show every night after dinner was an awesome way to end the night. The kids loved it and played with all the other kids and danced around. Super cute. The food was ok. It’s not as bad as people made it sound. It’s comparable to other all inclusive mediocre bland buffet food. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies. It didn’t make any of us sick so that’s cool! Towards the end of the stay we saw the crowd take a turn. Before it was a bunch of chill canadiens and families. But then a surge of 18-21 year old American spring breakers checked in and it did harsh my mellow a little bit. Although they didn't keep me up at night and were not directly mean or aggressive to us. Just annoying. Lol Overall we had a good time and I would consider going back."

"Slow check in process and room not ready when we were told it would be. Air conditioner in suite didn’t work either. We were only here one night before starting a tour but wouldn’t recommend to anyone. "

"This is a mixed review because there were things we genuinely liked about this hotel. The property is beautiful-very modern with a relaxed boho vibe & the location is great, close to beaches, the marina, and grocery stores. The staff were friendly and tried to be accommodating during our stay. Unfortunately, we experienced several issues and had to change rooms 3 times. The first room had a sliding door that wouldn’t close properly, so we were moved right away. The second room was on the second level facing the main street and the noise was extremely loud starting around 6am, garbage trucks, construction, traffic, and street noise. The windows seem to have very little sound insulation because the noise sounded almost the same whether the window was open or closed. Since this was supposed to be a relaxing trip, we asked to move again. We accepted a downgrade to a room without a kitchen just to get away from the street. Unfortunately that room had a connecting door with almost no soundproofing, and we could clearly hear the guests next door talking, brushing their teeth, using the bathroom, and watching TV. At that point we asked for a refund and considered leaving, but the staff tried to help and offered a room on a new floor that was quieter. However there was no Wi-Fi and we also had AC issues. Overall the hotel is beautiful and the staff were kind, but the noise, room changes, lack of Wi-Fi, and AC problems made the stay disappointing. No compensation was offered."

"What an amazing stay!! Our days started with a coffee by the pool overlooking the marina and ended on the balcony people watching at sunset. Considering the fact we were in the heart of Cabo and all the nightlife, the bedrooms were remarkably quiet. We loved this place, Hugo was very engaged throughout offering recommendations on restaurants and activities. Thank you for everything, we will be coming back next year!!"

"We were taken to their newer resort per their request and offered a financial amount to stay there. They wanted to showcase their newest hotel I'm assuming. Kadun. It was very nice and modern. Did address a smell in one room and quickly changed us to another. It was very nice and updated."
