"Most aspects of this hotel exceeded my expectations: the location is perfect, the premises are pristine, and the rooms, lobby, and indoor parking are truly high-quality. ​However, the fitness room needs a serious upgrade. While the elliptical and the two spinning bikes are good quality, the rest is disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. The treadmills, benches, and seated cycles feel like entry-level equipment. There are no cable machines, the weights stop at 30 lbs, and the weight rack is literally homemade from painted 2x6s. The "cozy" lighting also isn't ideal for a workout environment. ​It’s a superb hotel, but the gym definitely needs more "love" to match the rest of the experience."

"I have a very nice room, clean, quiet and a nice temperature for sleeping. The shower was easy to use and the bathroom was clean with lots of towels. The staff went out of their way to help me get taxis and were very kind. I like the breakfast buffet and the hostess was such a nice lady. She was there to take away my used dishes and to refill my tea. She is a great asset to the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn and if I am ever in Laval again I will stay there for sure."
