The hotel would be a 6 stars if the breakfast would be running one hour later during the weekday as 9:00 is a bit too early for me ! When i am off on holiday,i really like to wake up in the morning and take my time and not having to rush to get in the restaurant for my breakfast because it close at 9:00am. The rest of the hotel is perfect,confort,parking,staff, clean room .👍

Best Western Laval was an interesting experience. The hotel management should look up a dictionary for the definition of hospitality. The hotel charged additional fee for not declaring for a 4 person party for a room that accommodates 4 persons. If that doesn't make sense to you, you are not alone. Apparently, we needed to inform the hotel that we're 4 people beforehand. Simply reserving a 4 person room wasn't enough. The hotel had one elevator. Any movement outside to lobby was a waiting game, testing guests' patience to the fullest. The breakfast, which was complimentary, was mediocre at best and provided with the stinginess of Les Miserables' "Master of the House". Finding cold hard boiled eggs in the serving dish was like finding a chair when music stops. Once breakfast time was up, the dining area was closed by a locking door. No access for any after hours coffee. Speaking of coffee, hot water of coffee color is a more apt description. Hotel had a pool, however, it did not have guest laundry and dryer. To dry wet swim suits we were advised to drive to nearest Laundromat to dry, waiting for the single elevator was included in the time spent. I have extensively traveled for work, and have stayed in hotels for a long time. I have never experienced such pettiness. I think Best Western should change its name to Petty Western.
