"Great staff"

"We stayed here as a staycation. The room was clean. The phone didn't work. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. Someone came to switch out the phone, but it still didn't work. They are in the middle of renovating some of the hotel so it's good to see that they are making improvements. You can't bring anything into the water park except water. They will check your bag and confiscate anything extra. Even when the bar and restaurant closes, they'll still not slow you to bring things in. The pool area is very nice. One of the bathrooms was closed for renovations I believe. The other restaurants near the pool are also being renovated. When it's done, it will be great. There were some areas along the lazy river that need renovated. We saw several exposed wires."

"The architecture is amazing. The rooms were very clean and the beds/pillows were comfortable. My only “complaint” is the price of food/snacks on-site. I expected the prices to be higher than surrounding restaurants/grocery stores but their prices were extraordinarily high. An e ample was $18 for nachos and to add the cheapest protein (chicken) took the cost to $12. Additionally the spa prices are quite pricey. $215 for a 50 min massage, not including the 20% gratuity they expect. This would not have bothered me as much if the spa itself offered more amenities. No pool, no low key waiting room, no flavored water, muffins were stale, etc."

"This was a great place to stay for our 3 day vacation. The location is very convenient if you want to explore around scottsdale. Everything is about a 20 minute drive away. The casino also has a pool, bar, restaurants, and of course slot machines if you dont feel like leaving the resort. Overall, I reccomend it and would have no problem staying there again."

"The breakfasts and the late afternoon snacks were fantastic. This is the first time that the paid food was worse than the free food. At Ironwood, it was an hour and 20 minutes to get our food and the quality was sub-par. At Toro service was quicker but quality was lacking for our breakfast. The hotel, its celebration of the fourth, and maid service was fantastic. Room is nice and amazingly quiet. I might stay there again sometime."
