「The room was clean with usual facilities. Staff friendly. Parking excellent. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. Only toast or cereal supplied as part of the Bed and breakfast charge. Anything else had to be paid for as an extra. This wasn't expected and for the price of the room we feel that at the very least a continental style breakfast could have been supplied. We ended up going to a local cafe for a decent breakfast every day of our stay.」

「I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

「The beach was beautiful. The décor has a slightly shabby chic style, although some areas could do with updating. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely come back again. The location is excellent.」

「Last minute booking due to cancellation of flight from cornwall, the room was clean and the amenities were fine. Welcome tray a nice touch, bathroom fine, but not suitable for someone with a disability due to no overhead bath shower.」

「I like the character and location of the property and the staff are doing the best that they can. The property is dated and in need of investment. The bedroom could have been a bit cleaner (hoovering the carpet which did not seem to happen during my stay) and the bedding did not fit the mattress. The staff were kind and helpful though some better manners from certain bar staff would have gone a long way. The food was great.」

「Hotel ideally positioned for beach, walking & exploring Falmouth. Hotel looks a bit tired, room carpet stained, paintwork chipped & outside area’s overgrown. But despite it’s quirkiness the hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Room very clean but housekeeping only made bed (which I could easily have done myself) & night wear just dumped on bedside table. Upon arrival the receptionist was rather brusque, not to say rude, and just barked “surnames” in our direction, which wasn’t very welcoming. 「Lovely retreat in a quaint village placed conveniently between both coasts. Glamping at it's best. The hosts discreet but easily reached. Issues sorted swiftly (beside weather not in their power :).CLose to Newquay, Truro St Ives.Lost garden of Heligan and an amazing pub,walking distance from the site with beautiful food. Breakfast available,basics provided. I had a lovely time despite feeling that the wind will.blow away the tent over te Atlantic. Sturdy tent.」
