"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Friendly, relaxing atmosphere with fantastic views of hayle estuary. Watching the tide come in and go back out from our room and seeing the wild birds in the local area was fascinating. The staff were friendly and the meals were excellent.
