"We had an outstanding time once again. The house is lovely and spacious and everything we could want. The pool and porch were a central part of our stay. We only had one small problem all week with the plumbing, but after a call to the host, it was quickly resolved. The kids and the adults went to the church parking lot to ride bikes then to sheets to pick up something for lunch. By the time they got home everything was working fine and I was relaxing in the pool. The internet was much better this year and kept the kids busy in the morning when we fixed breakfast. The dining room table was big enough for all 8 of us to have breakfast and dinner together. The front entrance has a large round table that my 10 yr old Grandson spent most nights working on a jigsaw puzzle. This was our second year staying at Concord Manor, and hopefully it won't be the last.Thank you for a wonderful vacation."

"The rooms and common areas were very clean. The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated. Amenities in the bathroom were very nice. There was a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, iron, ironing board, and safe in my room. Lots of area to put your belongings - drawers and shelves. Beds were very comfy. The staff was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but good. Lots of available parking and my only surprise was having to pay a $5 parking fee. The property is within a mile or so of downtown Farmvile with lots of cute little shops and places to eat. I will definitely stay here again if traveling to this area."

"Wonderful secluded cabin! Great location near state park and national park. Very convenient to Appomattox and Farmville, about 20 minutes either direction for groceries and restaurants. Nice clean hot tub. Great for relaxing and staring up at the night sky, which is full of stars!Kitchen is well appointed, with a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, plenty of pots/pans utensils. There is a dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer. The full bathroom has a walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were available as well as ample towels.1/2 bath in the 2nd bedroom is a nice feature. Beds were comfy!For those who have not spent time in the rural country, you should know the house is surrounded by forest. You will hear animals. You will see bugs like spiders, and ticks (ticks especially under the pine trees). This is just how things are in central Virginia, in the summer in the woods. You will also enjoy lightning bugs (fire flies), and many species of birds. The driveway is gravel and somewhat narrow. We easily parked 2 vehicles and roundabout near the house makes it easy to maneuver. If you have a massive vehicle, or you are towing something large it might be a bit tricky. Overall we loved it and would stay again."
