「Overrated hotel; definitely not 5 star material.
Perhaps the best in El Valle, but not what you would expect.
Lush deco, but tasteless
Everything is made using cheap luxury, so the rooms are already starting to look tired.
Restaurants are OK, but nothing to brag about.
Staff are locals, so you get a local guest experience. They care more about chatting together or using their phones than serving you.
When it is time to tip, they purposely (or are careless enough to) mistake a "$" sign for...

「Christophe and his family were amazing hosts. The breakfast was incredible and fit for a king. The grounds, room and pool were decorated beautifully and very well maintained. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend this place.」
