"This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! Such a cool, eclectic hotel, right off of the slopes. Coolest staff, and absolutely loved the silk screening session with our newfound friends."

"Restaurant could have provided a wider selection of ala-carte dishes albeit simple dishes like ramen, donburi, burgers, etc instead of restricting ala-carte dishes to be chosen only from the set menu."

"Amazing place to stay. Absolutely will be back"

"Great place to stay"

"The staff were so helpful here. The place has character and the location is amazing close to the chairlift and can see the mountain from the room. The room has everything we needed and loved the onsen. Breakfast was typical Japanese style but as a buffet so could help yourself and you could ski straight into the warm room to leave our equipment. "

"Very friendly"

"Wonderful hotel, service, location, everything!"

"The staff and service is second to none! "

"Although the property is not exactly updated, it was incredibly clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s located right in front of the beginners lift and was close proximity to the ski school and shuttle pick up. I would definitely stay here again in the future. "

"The place was cosy and the host was so very helpful with transport to grocery shopping and station, & lift passes. The small house had all the facilities you need and was toasty. "

" Nice room Onsen ski storage breakfast Friendly staff"

"I can not more highly recommend Shirouma So! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly situated near the bus terminal, Happo One, and restaurants. The onsen was the perfect way to finish a day on the slopes. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety - while breakfast is set, it is different every day. I would definitely stay here again!"
