「清潔度・快適さなどハード面ではカークウォールでトップクラスのホテルだと思います。朝食なども十分なものでした。唯一残念なのはとにかくフロントに係員がいない。朝昼夜問わず不在が多く、その度、同じ建物内のパブに行って言伝なければならず、待ち時間を含め人的な面でのサービスでスムーズさはありません。ですがその点を除けば価格に見合った設備と内容だと思います。」

「The hotel appearance is consistent with the rest of the city. Wick is a bit dirty and industrial. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and food at the hotel was very good. We traveled to Wick for the coastline long hikes and that did not disappoint. The hikes were amazing and worth the effort to travel this far north.」

「This is a friendly place with clean pleasant rooms and a nice breakfast. However, it isn’t really a hotel, more a pub offering bed and breakfast. When I booked it advertised a restaurant, but this had closed down by the time we arrived, and we had to book dinner in a sister hotel nearby. Not a big issue, but as there are only two restaurants in town you have to book early. We found here that like many places in Orkney there seems to be a serious staff shortage. 「The Harbour Inn is a historic building and has a lot of character. I had the single room, #3, that had the bathroom across the hallway. The room itself has all the basics you need for coffee and tea, plus condiments and biscuits. The room has a view of the harbor. Breakfast was excellent! For the amount I paid and previous reviews, I was worried, but Ken and Virginia were welcoming hosts and you can't get something similar for the price in the US.
