This is a lovely new hotel, very helpful friendly staff and one of the very best Onsens we’ve experienced in Japan (this is my third trip). Really fantastic- new, clean, three pools- outstanding. The hotel is 35 minutes S of Hakuba by car and an hour by shuttle bus, and the shuttle only runs to and from once per day so without a car you don’t have many options. Omachi, the nearest town is a fairly long walk. Recommend having a rental car if you stay here.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Room was excellent with an amazing Mountain View. Full amenities and top notch service. Staff goes above and beyond and are personable and friendly, even as English speaking tourists. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect mix of made to order hot dishes along with a large spread of buffet items. The best hotel in Hakuba if you want a luxurious and relaxing experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff, better English than I expected. More or less traditional ryokan, with tatami floors. The room is spacious during the day when the futons are rolled up (the staff does that for you), and the futons are very comfortable to sleep on. My friends and I spent 6 nights at Avanti Chalet during our stay in Japan. We were amazed at the quality and size of the property, I highly recommend staying here. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. A small update to the property description; there's two bathrooms, not one. This property easily accommodated 4 people with plenty room to spare.

Stayed in the glamping tent with my family of four (including a 5 & 9 yr old). Such a wonderful spot - tent was comfy w/ a dedicated toilet/sink room in a separate adjacent little building. Had a wonderful fire pit which the staff lit for us in the evening at the time we requested (on our was back from dinner we texted them from their very helpful app).
