「I LOVED my stay at the Pines and wish I could have stayed longer. Already planning another trip that way next summer and will for sure stay there again. Tony was nothing but hospitable and provided so many nice little touches to the service. He sent suggestions for places to eat, brought donuts in the morning and went around to each room in the evening with a little tea light for the porch. 「This historic hotel interior is designed as if it were 1880. The rooms are that way too. Great bar and nice restaurant, where the complimentary breakfast is served (vege frittata, scones and coffee, tea). It’s a well run 5 star hotel in downtown Grass Valley. 」

I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesn’t come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price...
