Our room was nice, the only improvement I would mention is beds were not very comfortable and the sheets were scratchy, the shower needed a good cleaning. "The indoor pool and hot tub was at the perfect temperature and we liked the beach- because it's not connected to all the other hotel properties in Traverse City, it felt like we had our own private beach. Other than that, breakfast was ok. For the amount of money that we paid for our stay, the property is outdated along with the rooms. I would think for that amount of money that things we would be updated and improved and more "beach-feel" but it was dark and dreary, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, we had a great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful."

The wall lampshades in our room were not secured properly to the wall. The room is good enough for a quick weekend stay esp if you’re spending most of the day in the island. Front desk staff is friendly. Coffee in carafes in the lobby and snacks for sale in a plexiglass box."
