「Just here for one night. Room was huge at 1,100 sf. Very comfortable. Snow was bad and it was a Monday so the property was quiet, people were friendly, shops were great. Ice rink was active. Our room was clean and in good shape considering properties where there is a lot of outdoor activities including skiing, tend to get worn a little more than a regular hotel. You could see that this was a ski resort that was well maintained. 」

「I am willing to pay extra for this place because it is walk in to the gondola. Except when the gondola doesn't run which seems to be about 50% of the time in my experience over the years. No biggy, in that case we have an alternative: drive to the CA main lodge ... except surprise surprise starting this year you need to reserve parking ... and of course 'on the day of' there is no more parking available ... so Heavenly says take the free shuttle bus ! Except when the gondola is closed there is...
