"The experience was amazing especially considering the low cost. It’s better suited for people travelling light because storage for suitcases is limited. The mattress was comfortable as well as the included comforter and pillow. I could faintly hear someone snoring somewhere in the room, but it did not ruin my sleep. The showers and toilets and in the adjoining room were plentiful enough not to have to wait to use. The Ueno Station is very close and made it easy for me to go where I wanted...

"Loved the surrounding area, a lot more quiet than the rest of Tokyo. There are 24 beds in the room, but you rarely bump into other people unless you actively hang out in the shared spaces."

"The place was nice. It has a small social area next to a small kitchen. Can say what that’s like as I never used it but it looked fine. The staff were nice and you get a small discount for the pizza shop you walk through to get to the hostel. I would however recommend to those in japan less than a month to get something other than pizza"

"Clean. Overall good stay by considering the value of money and location. The downside is there is not much communal area for the floor of individual rooms. A small space for the dorm floor. There is aroma stick everywhere, which can be nice smell for someone. To me, it was a bit too much and my nose kept itching. I had to cover it with a plastic bag in my room."
