Room was out dated but clean but what I could not tolerate was the stench of smoke in that room. Previous guests must have smoked. The sand ash tray outside the room facing the courtyard was littered with old cigarette butts. I guess being so close to the room the smoke would filter inside. No screens on any doors so we could not air the room. Guess we were unlucky with room 7. Strongly suggest they should have a designated smoking area well away from the rooms or make the motel non smoking. Had a meal at the restaurant and was very good but we did wait a long time for 2 mains.

We really appreciated having space for our family. The layout - a queen and single in one room, and two singles in the other, worked well for our small children. Even though it was motel style, there was room for a table and chairs for dinner, and space for the kids to play. Parking outside the room was perfect. A good location, with Heatherbrae Pies across the road an easy breakfast spot.
