"The staff at the hotel were wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. I would especially like to recognize the Korean gentleman manager who assists with luggage — he was excellent and very attentive. During my first visit we had a few challenges due to my disability, but on this trip everything went smoothly and we were able to interact very well. I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism shown by the team. Thank you again for the hospitality and support. It made our stay much more comfortable."

Food is average, nothing “wow” unlike what some reviewers wrote. I came to Shima Onsen for the Onsen, but this onsen, which is really small and without much of a view, was sorely disappointing. "

"Location is perfect being a few minutes walk to the train station, Yuzawa Kogen ski lifts, restaurants and shops. The food for breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent in quality and variety. We stayed 4 nights and was not bored of the spread. "
