Nasu Alpaca Farm is the largest of its kind in Japan, with over 400 alpacas. With their big fluffy body, perky ears, and eyes with the longest eyelashes I've ever seen, it was pretty darn hard not to fall for these shy but charming animals.

*Closest station is Nasu Shiobara Station and from there take the bus.

"The room was beautiful, the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. There was a private onsen in the suite. The massage chair seemed old and not in keeping with the high quality of everything else. Definitely would highly recommend"

"The beds were very thin mats on the floor with the worst pillows ever and terrible duvets, more like a quilt in an exposed duvet cover. The room was large but empty. After a long day of taking multiple trains I could have cried. It was pretty much like sleeping on the floor, with sketchy bedding, two sparse threaded towels, the toilet didn’t flush very good and the bidet sprayed water on the floor. It was the worst room I’ve ever stayed at and yet paid $370 Yen for one night. Do yourself a favor...
