This property is close to Nara Park and many great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a 10 out of 10. The location at the edge of the forest is spectacular. The service is impeccable. We are vegan and they accommodated us with absolutely delicious meals. It is located just on the outskirts of the Nara Deer Park where you are surrounded by a lovely forest ambience and yet you are just a short hike from the Park and its bustling surrounds. The trail just outside the Ryoken takes you up the mountain.It is simply an awesome place!

The room was super clean and well-maintained, with complementary amenities (rice crackers, water bottles, etc.). There was a laundry machine, too, which was convenient. The proximity to both JR and Kintetsu Nara Stations (about 7 minutes on foot) was definitely a plus. I highly recommend this place for anyone.

I was such a beautiful place to stay! There was plenty of room, and plenty of pillows - rare in Japan! The decoration was very tasteful and welcoming. Staircase was a little narrow, but this is common in Japan and not a fault of the owner. There was only one toilet, which worked fine for our family of 4. One of the best hotels if stayed in Japan and anywhere. Staff is great and rooms are spacious and clean. There are also several commodities for you to enjoy. Will definitely stay again. Convenient too as it as across Nara Station. Easily accesible to many areas.

From the very first time we arrived in Asuka, on to the house. We were surprised by it's magic. The village is so serene, near by all the amenities we needed from walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, and train station. The house itself is absolutely magical. It's like a fairy tail. The hotel and room were very clean and functional, the location was excellent, and all the staff were polite and attentive, making for a very comfortable stay.

The hotel was nice and clean, great location , has shuttle bus to several locations.

The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. This was such a special property that was the ultimate luxury. The staff was impeccable and kind and so helpful. The room was dreamy with every minor detail executed perfectly. Nothing was forgotten and the breakfast and dinner onsite was a beautiful experience with delicious food.
