Beautiful Nagasaki hotel; well maintained. Rooms are new and with useful tech features. Views are great from the rooms. Location at Nagasaki station is ideal.
Staff is helpful to a point -but they insist their rules must be strictly followed. For example one cannot eat outside food in the lobby - the lobby cafe has a small coffee stand with a very limited selection. If you want to drink a soda in the lobby for example while waiting for someone you're out of luck - no outside food in the lobby...

The Candeo Hotel in China Town Nagasaki was one of the best hotel experiences my husband and I ever had.
The hotel is clean and was so quiet, I thought we were the only guests there, but in fact there were so many! I know because evening when we returned to our hotel room, there would be a silk bag filled with new towels, silk pajamas and house slippers, and fresh bottles of water hanging on the door knobs of all the checked-in guests on our floor...and there were many many bags, but the rooms...
