"The Candeo Hotel in China Town Nagasaki was one of the best hotel experiences my husband and I ever had. The hotel is clean and was so quiet, I thought we were the only guests there, but in fact there were so many! I know because evening when we returned to our hotel room, there would be a silk bag filled with new towels, silk pajamas and house slippers, and fresh bottles of water hanging on the door knobs of all the checked-in guests on our floor...and there were many many bags, but the rooms are so quiet, you would never have known! The front guest staff are so kind and helpful and polite, assisting with the tiniest of requests with the most attentive warm care and concern. One of the front desk angels asked if we wanted her to call us a taxi to take us to the airport, which she did. But when the taxi arrived and seemed to go pass the hotel entrance, the hotel staff ran out of the hotel in her uniform and high heels to chase down the taxi for us!! She apologized for the taxi, smiled, bowed many times to us and thanked us for our patience and understanding!! These people are the sweetest, kindest, most respectful hotel staff you will ever meet! Do yourselves a favor and book your stay at the Candeo. You will not regret any part of your decision, and it will add so much peace, pampering, and enjoyment to your trip!
