The staff was really helpful and helped me with the lock and ordered a taxi for me. I just use it for one night and I wanted it to be close to the airport. the limited options without a car was a lot less important to me than the nice mattress abd the non smoking policy.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. At first, it was a bit claustrophobic in that, it measured 127 sq. ft., but we quickly got used to it and surprisingly, it was quiet, clean, accommodating to our needs, was within walking distance to several restaurants, and get this: we have stayed in many, many 4 and 5 star hotels and this bed was very, very comfortable and the pillows were exceptional! Beautiful Nagasaki hotel; well maintained. Rooms are new and with useful tech features. Views are great from the rooms. Location at Nagasaki station is ideal. Staff is helpful to a point -but they insist their rules must be strictly followed. For example one cannot eat outside food in the lobby - the lobby cafe has a small coffee stand with a very limited selection. If you want to drink a soda in the lobby for example while waiting for someone you're out of luck - no outside food in the lobby...

The Hamilton is a unique fusion of British Stately Home turned Inn, and Japanese hot spring spa. It sits on the steep side of a hill, making the entry challenging for those with mobility limitations. Once inside, however, the building is fitted with ramps and an elevator. Staff are alert for arrivals, come to the parking lot to help position the car and bring your luggage inside. This Dormy Inn had the best public onsen of any Dormy Inn I have used in Japan. The outdoor baths were amazing. Inside, the room was spacious and modern. I had an amazing time in this hotel just a few minutes walk from Nagasaki Station.
