"It is old and tacky. View from the room is spectacular. Clean and comfortable, but it's ancient, in desperate need of updates "

"Really beautiful hotel with very large rooms - the biggest I've experienced in Japan. Delicious traditional breakfast. About 12 mins walking distance to the peace park and museum, and 5 mins walk from bus stops. I had a jacuzzi bath in my room."

"The best part was the room and the view. Breakfast buffet and public bath were so so. I wanted to book massage but it was off day which is very disappointing. I wish there’s option to have dinner in the room."

"A wonderful hotel!"

"Very nice would stay here again."

"Although this hotel is an older traditional Japanese style, staff are super friendly and helpful for foreigners. They set up the bed for you everyday and excellent hospitality. Fantastic view overlooking the whole Nagasaki city. Highly recommend! "

"Clean a little different setup for a hotel. "

"Room very clean and the staff helpful"
