「Excellent heritage hotel (former coaching inn) in thriving Ledbury. Room was clean and comfortable, with pretty terrace outside the room. Large and yet also cosy bar with great choice of drinks. The restaurant looked very inviting, but we ate at the outstanding '33 The Homend' nearby, recently granted a Michelin star. Free parking. Only negative was that the heating wasn't working but it wasn't really needed, and I am confident they will fix it」

clean and tidy with very friendly owners who went out of their way to accommodate requests outside of the remit of any other accommodation; we were made to feel most welcome to immaculate rooms and spacious guest lounge and breakfast room over looking the 'Sugar Loaf' the breakfast offering was both plentiful and perfectly cooked, set in a remote and relaxing location accessible by cars and mini busses.

「Bharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place.」

「We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. 」

「Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.」
