Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.

We had a one night stay at Saracens Head, had private parking bay immediately outside and river view room. The room was very clean very nice en-suite and had ample wardrobe and drawer spaces. Evening meal in the restaurant was first class with varied menu. Breakfast was all freshly cooked nothing from self serve, very good. I have never been to a pub or hotel with so many good and polite staff, all so friendly and responsive. We will definitely be going again. The walks along the river and up to viewpoint are amazing.

Lovely location and very peaceful, Very attentive staff nothing felt too much trouble, Parking could maybe be better and would possibly put us off visiting in the summer months when i would imagine it must be very busy. Room was clean and well presented, Lunch and Breakfast was of a very good standard.

This is an aged property but they have done a great job keeping it clean. The bathrooms are remodeled with very good water pressure, sufficient space. Room is spacious for 2 of us with beautiful river view in Room 7. Daily cook to order breakfast is included in the room is a plus. The food here is delicious from breakfast to dinner. We had Easter Sunday lunch here unfortunately this wasn’t as good as the regular dinner. I assume it’s because of the large quantity of food the kitchen has to cook for the crowds. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. All hike trails are walkable from the hotel. Truly enjoyed our 2 nights stay. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back in the fall to see foliage in the area.
