"We truly loved being able to stay at The Fox Den, in the beautiful Cattail Creek! Especially loved all of the various fox features, and the sound of the creek at night. Plus gorgeous deck to spend time on. Would certainly stay again!!"

"Drew and Carly are amazing hosts! They accommodated our son that is a paraplegic in a wheelchair greatly! Plenty of space for our huge family get together of 5 kids 4-12 age and 12 adults. Kids stayed occupied between the huge yard, river and game room. It was an amazing stay and will be back. Love Yancey County area for the small towns and the slow down! Support local shops and more!"

"This was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed.Everything we needed was here. The view is gorgeous, the pool was great, and the bed was so comfy!! I feel like I slept amazing the whole week. 100% we will stay again."

"We loved our stay. The property was spotless and creek was amazing. It is totally an outdoor property, it is a little tight indoors. It was supposed to rain all week, but it seems mountain weather is "wait 10 minutes and it will change". More hiking opening up all the time after the hurricane, we found hikes about every day close by. Burnsville had an amazing art fair while we were there."

"With a view from Heaven this home gives you a chance to escape the grind of everyday life. The home is not only very private and well stocked with the items you need to make delicious dinners but close enough to town to eat out. The surrounding area is pure country with neighbors far enough away for privacy yet close enough to say high when you're out for a walk. Would highly recommend!!"
