"Just got back from a 7 night stay. Had a wonderful time! The rooms were clean and loved the filtered water machine and cappuccino maker in our room. Most food was very good with Bamboo (Asian) and Manglar (seafood) being our favorite restaurants. The pizza stand by the pool was awesome! The pool and pool bar staff were fun. Shoutout to Alan at the club swim-up bar. Recommend paying extra for the club adult side of the resort if you are traveling without kids. The beach was also great! We swam in the ocean and saw manta rays and sea turtles by the shore. Beautiful sunsets also. Highly recommend the Westin!"

"The Casa Symbiotica is a beautiful property with an amazing view of the ocean and actually looks better than the photos suggest. The reason I am giving a 3-star rating is because the water went out on 2 nights of our 5 night stay. After spending time at the beach and on excursions, coming back to the property and not being able to shower or even flush the toilet for 10 guests was a huge inconvenience. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to visit all of the places we intended to because of this issue. The hostess was nice when we brought the issue to her attention on the first occurrence, but she could not resolve the issue as quickly as we would have preferred. A repair person arrived the next morning which meant my family and I were uncomfortable for the entire night. We tried to be understanding as things can happen beyond anyone’s control, but then the water went out a second time. There was a caretaker onsite, but addressing the water issue seemed to be outside of his skillset. All this tainted our experience. For some, having running water may not be a big issue. For me, it just did not make sense considering the amount of money paid. I cannot in good conscience recommend this property, especially with so many other properties in Costa Rica. I know the property management team may respond to this message with their apologies and yada, yada. I look at reviews before booking hotels, restaurants, etc. and just trying help others make an informed decision."

"We absolutely loved our stay! It's tucked back in the jungle so we were surrounded by birds and howler monkeys! It was the perfect escape from the business of life! Tony is a wonderful host and very attentive to anything that you might need!"

"We had a fabulous time at this home! The space was clean, set up was perfect for our family and Conchal Reserva in general is an excellent choice for a family vacation! There are a ton of trails, the beach club is absolutely amazing and we loved popping into the Westin property as well for the gift shops, coffee, etc. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart or car to get around the property as it is quite large.We will be back! "
