"This hotel was easily one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The hotel rooms have a proper ryokan feel and the hotel staff are the nicest people I have came across in Japan. We didn’t even ask them for a shuttle pick up from our bus stop but a car with a driver was already there They provide free shuttle to and fro Sukurai station which I wish I knew from before. Oh and the views from the rooms are just exquisite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat. My only regret is that...

"We had a fantastic stay at the Mikasa Ryokan, which we would describe more as an experience from the moment we entered the hotel, until the moment we were dropped back at the JR Station by the hotel shuttle bus. The staff are very attentive, the food was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. "This is a really beautiful place to stay with an onsen style bathroom, the staff don't really speak English so just be aware to translate or learn phrases. You have to give them your room key when you leave the hotel."
