「Sooooooo smokey. As a former smoker this was bad even for me. Even the rooms smell like smoke. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is sensitive to smoke. The food there was overall fine. The gambling was fine, but we felt the tables were too high for the traffic.」

「I don’t remember the name of the guy who was working very early in the morning, but he was very kind. Even though he didn’t have to, he let us take something for breakfast. We really appreciated his kindness.」

「I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best」

「Honestly everything was great, I didn't ask but I am so glad they gave us adjoining rooms. They were patient with us, we were traveling with 2 rough and rowdy toddler boys. Loved their coffee machine they had, that we could use 24 hours.」

「We chose Hampton Inn Kansas City Southeast because of good reviews and the location , which was very convenient for a family visit. The hotel facilities are very nice and clean, the room was relatively quiet, although we heard some noise from traffic, given that our room was roadside. Asking for a room on opposite side would likely fix this. Upon room entry we noticed a faint smell of paint, that was a little disturbing during our first night but subsided the next day. 「The staff were nice. The breakfast was good and area was clean. The biggest issue was the strong chemical smell in the room. It smelled like they’d just cleaned the carpet with too concentrated of solution.」

「Beautiful hotel. Property is peaceful and quiet. Ended up staying an additional night. Breakfast rotated. First day we were there was waffles and biscuits and gravy. Second day we were there was pancakes. Room was large and relaxing. Air conditioner was quiet and worked well. Staff were all very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again.」
