Our check in at the front bar was easy and the staff were very friendly. Pub food was nicely done and it was a fantastic location straight across the road from the Wilderness Railway station in Queenstown. Lovely old town with friendly locals."

"Amazing, quite unique, hotel floating in the middle of a lake with snow capped mountains in the backdrop, picture perfect. BUT that's it. There's really nothing else to do here, as you rely on food SOLEly provided by the hotel and there's no other external sources for food being so remote and the portions are small so pack some snacks, instant noodles. Aims for some fine dining vibe, but the quality is sub-par, may be due to meals being included in the price. The food alone would convince you...
