Houseboats in Middle East

"There was zero communication from the property manager about where to go, when to arrive and so on. Attempts to reach them via the Vrbo messaging system yielded nothing. We ended up driving around the town, trying to figure out where we should start the tour, and we eventually had to book a stay in a local hotel and pay for a separate dhow cruise the next morning. I have requested a refund and, as expected, zero response. Awful experience! "

"Just spent a week in the amazing accommodation Calypso beautiful views and an amazing small natural beech nearby. The nearby small town of Patara with its amazing white sands and sunsets and near to Kalkan plenty of typical Turkish Restaurants and shops to wander around. Own pool on the boat which was a perfect size and a great week chilling in the Turkish sunshine."
